Groundwater Imaging
Groundwater Imaging use geophysics to explore for groundwater, whether it be for siting bores, optimizing extraction from existing bores, investigating soil moisture and drainage, planning to actively recharge groundwater or discovering where seepage from irrigation reservoirs and channels is disappearing. We also install telemetry for monitoring evaporation, seepage and soil moisture profile changes.
Current research and development is on robust and practical ways of imaging bulk soil moisture in any type of soil including cracking clays by innovative application of electrical resistivity tomography.
