Producing 2 million litres of milk each year is no easy feat, especially as erratic weather events are on the rise. In this video, we’ll see what David Williams, a 4th generation dairy farmer at Vacy, has done to keep his production up on his farm. Installing a loafing barn was key to his success as this provided shelter for the cows in adverse weather conditions. He has also updated his irrigation system to decrease water usage and increase efficiency.
