Big Tech Big Ideas is a two-day Agricultural Field Day coming to Dubbo, NSW, on Thursday 26 and Friday 27 March, 2026. This is your chance to experience the latest farm technology solutions up close, with live demonstrations, hand-on activities, and speaker sessions from industry leaders.

Showcasing the latest innovations from Agtech suppliers, agricultural machinery companies, startups, researchers and government agencies, this field day is a celebration of the exciting technology transforming regional NSW.

From cutting-edge farm automation to advanced connectivity solutions, Big Tech Big Ideas is where bold conversations, practical problem-solving, and regional innovation collide.

Big Tech Big Ideas is a two-day field day in the Central West region of NSW to showcase innovative Agtech, automation and connectivity solutions designed to increase productivity, improve efficiencies and strengthen sustainability for NSW farmers.

Thursday 26 and Friday 27 March 2026
Gates open at 8.30 am - 4.30 pm

At the historic Dubbo Showground. 191 Fitzroy St, Dubbo NSW 2830 Australia. Entry to the carpark is via Wingewarra Street. View map.

  • Tickets at the gate can only be purchased by card. No Cash
  • General Admission tickets are $25 per person, for the 2 days
  • Student tickets are $5 per student, for the 2 days
  • For student groups of 20 or more, bulk ticket purchase is $100 per school. Please email fotf@dpird.nsw.gov.au if you wish to purchase bulk student tickets 

Tickets can be purchased here. Tickets can be purchased on the day, at the gate. Please note: it is a cashless event and tickets must be purchased via card.

Dogs aren't permitted on site. The only exceptions are dogs that are part of an exhibit and dogs classified as companion or guide dogs (medical certification may be requested).
