Agtech Academy is an online learning platform that provides self‑paced courses, videos, podcasts and case studies to help farmers understand and use Agtech and connectivity solutions. 

Yes. Agtech Academy courses and resources are free to access as part of the NSW Government Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, Farms of the Future program.

Agtech Academy is designed for farmers, farm managers, advisors, teachers and students who want to learn about Agtech and how it can improve decision‑making on farm. 

You will learn:

  • The fundamentals of Agtech and connectivity
  • How to identify on‑farm challenges and develop a Monitoring Plan
  • How Agtech works in practice and what to consider before purchase
  • From NSW Farmers who have already implemented Agtech on their farms 

Courses are self‑paced and delivered in short modules, so you can complete them in your own time.

No. The content uses plain language and practical examples, so it is suitable for Agtech beginners to producers looking to extend existing Agtech systems.
