What assistance is available?
Farmers in the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) will soon be able to apply for funding to invest in Agtech through the NSW Government's $1.4 million Smart Farming Program.
Eligible primary producers will be able to apply for funding covering 70% of the cost of eligible Agtech, up to a maximum grant of $35,000.
Grant applications will open in the coming months.
How is the Program being funded?
The program is being funded by EnergyCo through the Central-West Orana REZ Community and Employment Benefit Program and will be delivered with support from the Farms of the Future program.
